Senate passes bill to deny entry for individuals who meddle in US elections

The Senate cleared legislation on Monday night to block individuals who meddle in U.S. elections from being able to enter the United States.   The legislation, known as the DETER Act, easily passed the Senate by unanimous consent — a move that any one senator could have blocked.
